The Lake
a carp angler’s dream!
The Grange is a mature tree-lined gravel pit approximately 45 years old with depths of up to 6 metres.
Several overhanging trees dotted around the lake perimeter create fantastic stalking and fishing spots in the deep margins. The various features, including bars, plateaus and gullies, make the topography of this lake a carp angler’s dream! With this in mind, fishing with the use of a bait boat with an echo sounder would be a huge advantage.
A total of 6 man-made wooden swims surround the lake, giving each angler plenty of water to fish to, but bookings are limited to 4 anglers on an exclusive use basis.
Non-angling guests are welcome, subject to prior arrangement.

Incredible
After visiting earlier this year, I can honestly say I’m looking forward to coming back later this year and already looking at booking next year, from a warm welcome on arrival with an incredible view of the lake as you drive in to fantastic hospitality. Great fish appearing throughout the week also increase the mood and help to encourage return visits, really looking forward to seeing how the lake develops over the coming years.
